    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Advertise and promote the Casino and its gaming operation.
    • Responsible for all contract negotiations, advertising placement, artwork supervision, market planning and implementation.
    • Also responsible for all advertising contract negotiation and budget management for all advertising efforts.
    • Places and maintains ads in gaming magazines, newspapers, television, and radio regarding casino events.
    • Make the necessary outside contacts in advertising, i.e., Billboards, Radio Stations, TV Stations, and any other media needed or available to promote the business.
    • Work closely with gaming managers to create, promote, and advertise the games.
    • Act as a publicist, compiling press releases as needed.
    • Make contact with various communities to promote the business.
    • Create “promotions” to increase business, i.e., VIP Parties, Special Events and Tournaments.
    • Ensure all promotions are properly supported with necessary collateral and advertising items.
    • Create and/or commission all collateral materials needed to support promotions. This includes items such as flyers, banners, posters, signs, brochures.
    • Ensure that all sales collateral, in-house advertising are printed, in place on the casino floor, and are always stocked. (I.e., flyers, banners, posters, signs, brochures).
    • Assist in creating a website for the Casino.
    • Send updates to web designer on a monthly basis and/or as needed.
    • Ensure that all casino departments are adequately informed of current and upcoming promotions in a timely manner.
    • Maintain quarterly/monthly/annual marketing and advertising budgets.
    • Produce monthly casino newsletter for casino employees.
    • Create and ensure timely distribution of monthly direct mail newsletter and calendar of events.
    • Manage direct mail database to maximize communications with players and increase player activity.
    • Update Player Tracking direct mail database on a daily basis.
    • Generate monthly Player Tracking reports for accounting department.
    • Participate in Gaming Conventions and Expositions to network and promote the business.
    • Coordinate efforts to display “Gaming World, Inc.” at Expositions and Gaming conventions.
    • Perform all other work-related duties as assigned by the President/General Manager.

     

     

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communication or related field.
    • Three to five-year experience in a public contact/marketing industry with at least 2 being in a management position
    • Prior experience in casino marketing particularly in digital and managing external agency relationships
    • Comprehensive understanding of player rating systems, human resources, casino marketing and comping policies, procedures and theories
    • Must have writing skills and be able to write press releases, customer letters, casino collateral, website and social media.
    • Knowledge of social networking and other Web 2.0 marketing tools required.
    • Basic knowledge of website development preferred. Knowledge of Photoshop skills, Adobe Photoshop and marketing software preferred.
    • Must be able to work with minimal to no supervision on a continual basis.
    • Must have good project management skills; provide strong leadership, prioritize project tasks, meet project deadlines and effectively communicate with personnel, coworkers, subordinates and the general public.
    • Must be able to perform a wide range of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of deadlines.
    • Must be able to work in high stress environment and handle difficult situations. Must be able to work extended hours when needed. 
    • Must be flexible and available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

    • Must be able to concentrate in an intense, fast-paced environment with numerous distractions
    • 24-hour operation with a very fast paced environment
